question about terminology.

prince-koyangi:

is, er, anybody offended by the use of the term ‘anybody’? i was previously using ‘anyone’ but i realized that could be offensive to multiple systems. however, ‘anybody’ could be offensive to those who identify as non-corporeal, and it also defines folks by their bodies, which is very problematic and essentialist. so i am not sure which to use. :/

any opinions? alternatives?
